Delivery Days

Our delivery days are Monday to Sunday.

Delivery time Monday to Saturday starts at 9:00 AM

Sundays delivery starts at 11 am (except Mother's Day Sunday and the Sunday before Christmas Day), Canadian Statutory holidays and Dec 26th (Canadian Boxing Day).

 

Local Deliveries

Thomas Hobbs Florist will design and deliver orders to the following local areas: Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, North Delta, Ladner, Tsawwassen, Surrey, White Rock, Cloverdale and Langley.

In most cases internet orders are for the following regular delivery day or later, which is preferred.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries for specific times of the day if requested, but we cannot guarantee it unless the delivery is done by taxi or courier, in which case the delivery fees will be higher than shown.

 

Wire Order Deliveries

For all other orders, called "wire" orders, flowers will be supplied by a florist we will contact in the area selected. We ask the florist to fill the order on how we would like the order to be designed, but of course, cannot guarantee that it will be similar to a Thomas Hobbs Florist design.

Internet wire order deliveries for Monday thru Saturday can only be for same day delivery in British Columbia and possibly western Canada if received by 10 am: for the rest of North America orders must be for the following regular delivery day or later; for all other world deliveries the order must be received 2, 3 days before the delivery date depending on the country/time difference and location within the country. Please note that some remote areas of the world cannot be delivered to.

Most internet wire order deliveries are for 2 to 3 regular delivery days or later, which is preferred.

Incorrect Address / Re-Delivery

Changes to address information or incorrect addresses after the order has been placed resulting in a re-delivery will be subject to an additional delivery charge.

 

Floral Order Delivery Times

Most florist shops make deliveries during normal business hours (9am to 5pm). However some residential orders could be delivered from 9am to 6pm. During extremely busy holidays, like right before Christmas or at Valentines, some residential deliveries may even be made a bit later.

 

When the Recipient Is Not Home

For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the order in a safe place or attempt delivery later in the day. We may also try calling the recipient to determine a delivery solution. If the recipient is at work all day we suggest sending the order to the workplace. You will be notified if a delivery cannot be completed for any reason.

For business deliveries, if the business is closed or will not accept the delivery we will attempt to find a delivery solution. If the delivery cannot be done the next business day you will be notified to discuss a solution to complete the delivery. You will also be notified if a delivery cannot be completed for any reason.

Contact Regarding Delivery Problems

If we have any difficulties or questions with your order that we cannot resolve, for whatever reason, we will contact you by telephone and/or email. For North American clients please provide us a phone number where you can be reached at during the daytime on Monday thru Saturday, as well as an email address you frequently access. For International clients we will usually email you first if we need to contact you, as time differences often make it difficult to call you directly.
